Prepared parents, grandparents, foster parents, and other caregivers create healthy families. The Pollywog team connects families with classes, services, and resources, and follows up to make sure families get what works for them.
Benton County Juvenile Department
Through supervision and rehabilitation services to youth and families referred to the Juvenile Department we both protect the community and work with families to equip their children with the skills necessary to live productively, responsibly, and safely.
Corvallis Babywearers
Corvallis Babywearers supports and promotes local parents who want to learn to stay close to their babies and do so safely and ergonomically.
Corvallis-Benton County Public Library
We are a county-wide public library system serving residents of Benton County through the main library in Corvallis; community libraries in Alsea, Monroe, and Philomath; and a bookmobile.
La Leche League of Corvallis, Albany, and Lebanon
La Leche League is an international, non-profit, and non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed and promoting a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother. Breastfeeding information and encouragement for families by phone, email, group meetings, and online.
Maternity Connections
You just found out you are pregnant, but what do you do now? Through Samaritan Health Services hospitals you can make your Maternity Connection. Meet with a Maternity Care Coordinator nurse before your baby is born and make a birth plan and your birthing class schedule. Learn about the birthing centers. Talk with her about community programs for parents and children.

OSU Child Development Lab & OSU Oregon Head Start Prekindergarten Program
The OSU Head Start Pre-K program provides preschool services to area families. Children enrolled through the OHSPk participate with children enrolled from the community-at-large in the developmental model preschool program where they are served nutritious meals and provided opportunities for social, emotional, and intellectual growth that helps prepare them for success in school and life.

Assisting individuals who have mental health and/or substance abuse-related issues, and who are seeking recovery to effectively implement positive change.
CSC Head Start
Provides free preschool education to children ages 3-5 years old in a nurturing learning environment that includes parents as important resources for their children’s learning, with locations in Lincoln City, Newport, and Toledo. Head Start focuses on the “whole child” and includes the child’s educational, health, family, and social needs.
Neighbors For Kids
Neighbors For Kids is dedicated to supporting families in Lincoln County during out-of-school-time hours by providing quality after school and summer programs to pre-school and school-aged children in a safe, affordable, fun learning environment.

Northwest Coastal Housing (NWCH) is a non-profit corporation committed to developing affordable housing, advocating for and supporting community efforts that enhance affordable living options. Their mission is to provide affordable, safe, decent, and stable housing with compassion and integrity.
Olalla Center
The Olalla Center has provided mental health services for children in Lincoln County since 1978. Olalla is a non-profit, community-driven, community-based, independent organization. committed to whole-person health and community. There are many people, youth and adults alike, struggling with mental health issues in Lincoln County. Olalla seeks to identify, understand, manage, and eventually heal these very real wounds in the lives of the people we work with. Olalla Center is committed to a safe and welcoming environment for clients, employees, and communities.

Re-Connections Counseling
Outpatient substance abuse treatment center that provides services to Men, Women, Adolescents, and Families. We have offices in four locations: Newport, Toledo, Lincoln City, and Florence, Oregon, using a treatment approach that is professional, caring, and non-judgmental.
Samaritan Early Learning Center
Samaritan Early Learning Center offers a friendly, safe, and nurturing atmosphere to children, from infancy through second grade. We focus on the whole child, including social, emotional, physical, and academic growth. Every four months, children are assessed for important developmental milestones, and we have access to the resources and support needed to help keep children on track.
Yachats Youth & Family Activities
The Yachats Youth & Family Activities Program is to provide a safe and supportive environment for children, to be an advocate for youth and families, and to provide and encourage activities that integrate youth into the community. The Families Together program offers dinner and reading once a month. Recreation PLUS After School Program (Passages to Learning, Understanding, and Success) offers an expanded after-school program with opportunities for children to learn new things from adult leaders.
Linn County
Albany Public Library
A full-service public library, open seven days weekly, for all residents, providing resources for education and entertainment. Storytime for children of all ages is held Monday – Friday. No registration required.
Family Connections
Our expert consultants help families with information on quality child care, parenting education classes, local activities, and advice about parenting. Available by phone and at our office on the LBCC Albany campus.
H.A.R.T. Family Resource Center
A core community connector in Harrisburg that is dedicated to actively providing opportunities for all individuals, families, and groups to improve their lives. We offer services, resources, and activities that help create a vital, vibrant, and active community.
Kidco Head Start
A preschool program in which we work with families to support parent-child relationships because parents are the most important teachers of their children. We plan home and center activities with families that support their child’s learning and development. We work with families, too, to provide information and referrals to other community services. The program is free to qualifying families.

The Lebanon Public Library provides cultural and intellectual enrichment to all people in our community. We are especially committed to providing opportunities for children to develop literacy and other essential life skills through storytimes, Spring Break and Summer Reading programs, outreach to new parents, and other children’s programs.
