Turn parenting challenges into opportunities for growth--FREE 8-week Class Series "Active Parenting of Teens" offered Tuesdays 6-8 pm beginning October 3rd
Circle of Security is a free, all-inclusive class for young parents ages teen-24 years old. Partners outside of that age range are welcome to join the class. Serving residents of Linn and Benton Counties. Transportation is provided for those residing in the 97321 and 97322 zip codes.
All family styles are welcome. This course will focus on:
Nurturing as a lifestyle
Managing stress
Communication
Recognizing and understanding feelings
How children develop empathy
Discipline
Brain development/ages and stages
Parenting support from other parents, community resources and facilitators
